The Openair pergola fits elegantly into the natural surroundings of Lake Garda at the Univela Hostel & Sailing Club in Campione (BS). A picturesque setting for base jumping enthusiasts, who carry out their jumps right next to the facility.
The customer’s need was to provide solar shading for the outdoor seating area turning into a evocative open-air room. It is a specially-made realisation. The height of the pergola had to be greater than 300 cm in order to be positioned above the windows of the building and to follow the layout of the latter so that the columns of the pergola were not in front of the windows, limiting the view from inside the room. This is why the wheelbase width is 600 cm.
The sunshade system consists of aluminium alloy slats, electrically adjustable from 0° to 135°, which allow for constant regulation of sun exposure, helping to lower the temperature and optimise air exchange.
