Having lunch or dinner outdoors means being able to enjoy open spaces exposed to the light and air.
The Oca Bianca restaurant in Cavaglià (BI) chose our outdoor solutions to create a functional and elegant outdoor space, offering its customers maximum aesthetic and functional comfort.
The particular context in which the Openlight bioclimatic pergola fits, necessitated a customised design study. The slope of the ground required the pergola to be placed on two platforms of different heights and, to compensate for the difference in height, sheet metal panels painted to match the pergola structure were added.
The pergola’s self-supporting structure for which a custom colour (Vert 300 Sablé) was chosen, is made entirely of aluminium and features Spot LED lighting on slats and warm white LED strips on the perimeter of each module, creating an evocative atmosphere both during the day and in the evening, playing with the intensity of the light.
In summer, electrically adjustable slats provide total shading during the hottest hours and a light breeze in the evening. The panoramic perimeter panels, on the other hand, allow the structure to be used even during in-between seasons, providing an intimate space sheltered from the wind and rain.
